I'm married with two kids. I like to climb, ski, travel, read, play chess, and build things.

My goals:

  • Climb (and try to ski) every Cascade Volcano. 7 down, 11 more to go.
  • Visit 50 states (4 left), 50 countries (5 left), and 7 continents (2 left).
  • Reach 1200 ELO on Chess.com.
  • Build things that make people (and me) happy.

My projects:

  • Orgtools. I founded this company in 2025 to help companies make better, faster decisions.
  • Ambition. I co-founded this company in 2012 to help sales managers coach, motivate, and recognize their employees. Served as CEO from inception until December 2024, growing the company to eight-figure subscription revenue while serving Fortune 500 customers like Cisco, Verizon, FedEx, and Zoom.
  • Common Ground. Simple tool to help people establish common ground and talking points before debating a topic.
